Verification Process

Post.Trust I.D.® and SpeediSign™ product purchases are subject to an identity verification process before a digital credential which is unique to the individual can be issued. Thus, following an expression of interest, either through the ‘Register Your Interest’ form, 'Request a Call back’ form or via customer support on 1890 617 171, a Post.Trust representative will contact you to schedule the face-to-face validation meeting. The meeting can be conducted at;

  • A participating Post Office
  • Post.Trust headquarters
  • Client premises

You will receive an Introductory Pack via post. The documentation provided in the Introductory Pack is for your review in advance of the face-to-face validation meeting. You MUST bring ALL contents of the Introductory Pack to the face-to-face meeting in addition to the following documentation:

  • Passport sized photograph
  • Original Passport or Driving License
  • A ‘Good Quality’ Photocopy of the same piece of identification (Passport or Driving License)
  • Letter of Authorisation
  • Registration Forms for each applicant

A letter of authorisation MUST be provided, signed by a senior official on behalf of your organisation on company headed paper, sanctioning you to receive a Post.Trust Certificate for Adobe® CDS. Where other members within the organisation are to be assigned a digital credential, you may act as a representative of that organisation for identity validation of those staff.

At the face-to-face validation meeting, the Post.Trust representative will check that you have presented and signed all of the necessary documentation. The documentation is then countersigned and returned to Post.Trust for processing.

Your Post.Trust I.D.® / SpeediSign™ Product Pack is then sent out to you via registered post containing your secure USB token, instructions and supporting installation software. Your PIN letter is sent out separately via post in a sealed envelope.

Now you’re ready to use your unique digital credential to electronically sign Adobe® PDF documents.
